Product Details
The MAX20361 EV kit (evaluation kit) from Maxim Integrated is a fully assembled and tested PCB (printed circuit board). The MAX20361 is perfect for evaluation of the MAX20361 single/multi-cell solar harvester with maximum power point tracking (MPPT) and harvest counter.
For the USB2PMB2 adapter board to provide I2C interface, this robust EV kit utilises a Pmod™ connector. To generate input current to the IC, the Maxim Integrated EV kit features an on-board adjustable current source and monocrystalline solar cell. In addition, the MAX20361 EV kit also features resistor load and supercapacitor to evaluate the integrated charger of the MAX20361. For convenient sensing of the MAX20361 output current, the EV kit also included load current monitoring circuitry. The MAX20361 EV kit software controls the USB2PMB2 adapter board over the USB, which generates I2C commands. The EV kit ships with jumpers installed and supply voltages set to typical operating values.
