Vishay VY1 series capacitors have a ceramic disc of which both sides are silver-plated, encapsulated in a flame retardant epoxy resin. The radial connection leads are made of tinned copper clad steel. The VY1 capacitors offer a high reliability and extended temperature range making them suitable for a wide range of applications.
