Insulated BNC Plug Connectors for Thin Ethernet
Fully insulated BNC plug connector, sockets and adapter, specifically developed to avoid electric shocks when poorly earthed devices are connected to one another. With these plugged connectors, the cap nut on the BNC connectors, which is usually made from brass, is made from black POM, so all contact with the shielding is avoided. The rack has an integrated tension relief bushing, representing another means for avoiding undesirable earthing.
The rack is made from nickel-plated brass. The internal contact is gold-plated and the insulation is PTFE.
