RS Pro Closed End Crimp Connectors

From RS PRO an insulated closed end crimp connector is a type of crimp terminal designed for the quick and easy joining or splicing of two or more electrical wires to form a permanent and reliable solderless connection. This RS PRO closed end connector is professionally designed using high-quality materials, with a tin plated copper barrel and a durable transparent nylon sleeving. The nylon sleeving has a flared entry design for easy insertion of your wires avoiding any turned back strands.

How do you use a Closed-End Wire Connector?

RS PRO nylon closed end connectors are easy to terminate. Simply strip the wires that need joining and insert them into the barrel of the connector and crimp together using a suitable crimper. The correct sized crimp connector can be calculated by adding all conductor cross-sectional areas together (mm²). The compression style electrical connection provides good tensile strength while maintaining maximum contact with the wire. The RS PRO series of closed end wire terminals are an essential addition to any electrician’s tool kit.

Features and Benefits

• Tin plated copper tube
• Durable nylon insulation
