This photoelectric sensor is a background‑suppression proximity device designed for industrial sensing in automation and control environments. It uses a visible LED light source to discriminate objects against their backgrounds over a practical working distance, while a rugged plastic enclosure and M8 connector support easy integration into machines and production lines.
It features a five‑turn mechanical sensitivity control and a light/dark selector to tune switching behaviour for various reflectances.
The device includes reverse‑polarity protection on supply and I/O and overcurrent/short‑circuit protection on outputs as specified for the circuitry.
A male M8 4‑pin connector is fitted and a stainless‑steel mounting bracket (1.4301/304) is included for bracket installation.
The sensor maintains stability within ±10 °C of the adjusted temperature and operates from −25 °C to +55 °C with storage to −40 °C/+70 °C.
A green LED signals supply presence and a yellow LED indicates received light‑beam status for alignment and diagnostics.
