Molex Push-Pull micro SIM Card Connector - 78646 Series

78646 series micro SIM card connector with a low profile height of just 1.45 mm offering vertical PCB space saving. The design of this micro SIM memory card connector features a wide finger area allowing easy removal of the micro SIM card using a push-pull method. The shell of this 778646 series micro SIM card connector has kinks either side of it to reduce lateral movement of the SIM card and prevent shorting. The design of this connector incorporates polarization features to prevent card misinsertion. The terminals of this connector have a rounded profile for smooth card insertion. A lead-in design prevents contact stubbing and helps provide a reliable electrical connection. The housing of this micro SIM card connector is made from Liquid Crystal Polymer that can withstand high temperature operations. Retention features on the shell provide a secure retention to the PCB.
