CAPE box
The CAPE is an alarm box for people who have been locked inside a cold room.
It comprises two parts:
– One has a push-button and a light, for fitting inside a cold room.
– The other is fitted outside the cold room and has a siren and indicator light to raise the alarm.
The assembly is equipped with a backup battery.
This device is a requirement for all cold rooms larger than 10 m3.
Battery operating life > 10 hours
Siren reduction time = 45 minutes.
N/O or N/C contacts can be added to the push-button.
