Wera has created a well thought out and superbly finished 17 piece screwdriver set. The set offers an ergonomic handle, Wera Rapidaptor technology, 16 of the most popular bits 89 mm in length, and all secured in a textile pouch.
Handle
The handle has been designed to fit comfortably in the hand to prevent muscle fatigue, blisters and sores. A unique quick-release system is a joy to use, simply push the bit into the adaptor without moving the sleeve and subsequently, the lock activates. No, the screwdriver bits are not magnetised but can be magnetised by using a magnetising tool available here at RS e.g. 667-3471
Note: The chuck design that’s part of the handle contains a magnet that holds the screwdriver bits in place, however, the bits themselves are not magnetised.
Is this screwdriver VDE approved?
No, this screwdriver set cannot be used where a high current voltage is present.
