RS PRO alkaline batteries are ideal for every day devices such remote controls, clocks, radios, MP3 players, handheld toys and games, torches and many more items. The battery is built to the highest standards to ensure consumers get the best performance with every use.
An alkaline battery has a higher amount of energy stored in them, and as the battery is used chemical reactions take place within the battery which generates the power.
These batteries are long life batteries designed to be used once and then discarded and are not rechargeable. These batteries are sometimes called a primary cell.
