Amphenol FCI Mini-PV Series Crimp Receptacle Contacts
Mini-PV series crimp receptacle contacts for connecting discrete wire to a PCB. These PV receptacle contacts can be crimped to wire and used discretely or inserted into a MINI-LATCH crimp connector housing. These high reliability crimp receptacles are made from dual-metal enabling them to maintain contact pressure through 1000 mating cycles. The contact has a brass body which ensures a reliable gas tight crimp termination. A beryllium copper spring provides a high retention force at the mating interface. These PV series crimp receptacle contacts are available with three different spring pressures, Standard (2.35N), 'High' (4.41N) and 'Ultra high' (10.79N). These differing spring pressures allow the customization of insertion and withdrawal forces. A wide range of wire sizes and plating options for each of these spring forces are also supported.
Features and Benefits
Discrete wire connections or inserted into MINI-LATCH housings
Durable dual metal construction supports 1000 mating cycles
Brass body for gas tight crimp termination
Retention spring for high mating force
Three different spring pressures for customization
Wide range of wire sizes and plating options
Product Application Information
The Mini-PV range of connectors are suitable for use in wide range of applications across several markets. Applications include communications, instrumentation, industrial equipment, white goods, automotive electronics, data, medical, consumer and military and avionics.
